Used to extend the life of Cask Ales by only allowing external air to enter the cask when beer is drawn.

The Manx Peg is a product developed on the Isle of Man (hence the name) which replaces traditional soft and hard spiles and increases the shelf life of Cask Ales. The filter has a patented one way valve which seals the cask and only allows air into the cask when beer is dispensed.

The Manx Peg should be fitted just hand tight and requires very little maintainance.


If you intend to use the Manx Peg when direct serving from the cask we recommend the use of the Race Cask Ventilator instead
